The Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) as a Resource for Scholars of Elections, Opinion, and Behavior
The following talk by Elizabeth Zechmeister, CSES Module 6 Planning Committee Chair, introduces the CSES project – its objectives, its database, and its organization, and highlights a set of discoveries regarding elections and voters that have been made using project data.
The presentation was a part of the 2022 Blalock Lecture Series, a series of lectures on social science topics and data from the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Science.
