Dear CSES user community,

We are pleased to announce the publication of the CSES Module 5 questionnaire, which is now available on the CSES website under “Collect Data” for viewing and download. In that same location you are also able to access the CSES Module 5 Design Report, Macro Report, and Respondent Booklet.

As of today, data collection for CSES Module 4 (2011-2016) is now officially complete, and data collection for CSES Module 5 (2016-2021) begins.

Next week we will be posting an entry to the CSES Blog (www.csesblog.org) with additional detail about the Module 5 theme and related decisions, as well as the outcome of the Plenary Session of collaborators which was held in late August in Philadelphia, United States.

Election studies which included CSES Module 4 are encouraged to deposit their dataset and associated documentation with the CSES Secretariat on or before December 31, 2016 in order to appear in the the Fourth Advance Release of CSES Module 4. If you are unable to meet that timeline, the final deadline for deposit of CSES Module 4 datasets and documentation will be October 31, 2017.

Thank you for your support of the CSES project, and best regards,
-Dave
