CSES Announcement: invitation to reception at APSA in New Orleans

August 21, 2012

Those of you who will be attending the 2012 annual meeting of the American Political Science Association (APSA) in New Orleans are invited to join us for a reception on Thursday August 30th at 7:30pm in Room “Napoleon A1” of the Sheraton. Be sure to check the location upon arrival in case the room is changed by APSA for some reason.

The reception will feature the presentation of the 2012 GESIS Klingemann Prize for the Best CSES Scholarship. A brief presentation will be made of the winning work, which is the book “Political Parties and Democratic Linkage: How Parties Organize Democracy” by Russell J. Dalton, David M. Farrell and Ian McAllister.

There will be finger foods and beverages (wine, soda, and water) available.

We hope to see you there!

Also, if you have a presentation you are delivering at APSA or another conference that makes use of CSES, please send us an email with the details so that we can include it in the bibliography on the CSES website. Thanks!

Best,
-Dave
