Denmark (1998) – A3011 (Which Party Do You Feel Closer To)

In the Denmark 1998 portion of the CSES Module 1 data file, some of the cases in A3011 are incorrectly coded 9. Cases coded “9. Missing” in A3010 should be coded “0. Not Applicable” in A3011.

The following SPSS code can be used to correct the error, after modification to fit the statistical software in use.

if A1004="DNK_1998" and A3010=9 A3011=0.

Please note that this affects 362 Denmark 1998 cases in A3011; no other cases or polities are affected.

The frequency distribution for A3011, for Denmark cases, with the correction applied is as follows:
