Dear CSES Colleagues,

We have two brief announcements for you:

1. As a reminder, we are accepting nominations for the 2015 GESIS Klingemann Prize for the Best CSES Scholarship through March 22, 2015. The full announcement can be found here:

2. In collaboration with the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim, the GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciencesplans to fund a doctorate candidate for three years, located in Mannheim, Germany. The candidate will work 50% time at GESIS as a research staff member on the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) team which is responsible for the data, documentation, and central operations of the project. In the other 50% of their time they will pursue a PhD topic relating to methods and/or political sciences, preferably based on CSES data. CSES operations, as well as instruction at the University, are conducted in English. Applications are due by March 31, 2015 and should be submitted through the following website:
