Dear Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) user community,
We write on three important matters:

First, for those of you that will be at the APSA annual meeting in Washington DC, we invite you to attend a reception to honor the winners of the 2014 GESIS Klingemann Prize for the Best CSES Scholarship.
The event will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 7:15 PM in the location “Marriott Balcony A.” The location is subject to change so please verify it in the final program at the conference.
The reception will include hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and a short presentation of the winning work, which is: “Correct Voting Across Thirty-Three Democracies: A Preliminary Analysis” by Richard R. Lau, Parina Patel, Dalia F. Fahmy, and Robert R. Kaufman.
We look forward to seeing many of you there!

Second, if you will be making a presentation at an upcoming conference (APSA, ECPR, EPSA, etc.), and the presentation makes use of the CSES, please let us know about it by email to: “[email protected]“. We would like to add it to the CSES Bibliography, and we will also update this posting under the What’s New section on the CSES website so that persons attending the conferences are aware of your presentation.
