We write to mention two items that may be of interest to you:
1. This Saturday, December 1, is the application deadline to participate in and present papers at the 2008 ECPR Joint Sessions at the University of Rennes, France. There is great potential to use CSES data to address a number of the workshop themes. More information about the event can be found at the ECPR website at this location:

2. The German Society for Electoral Studies (DGfW) is seeking to establish a German Election Study with strong connections to the CSES project. They are inviting interested electoral researchers to join the society, and to support and contribute to their work. The announcement at the following link provides additional information:
